With a strong and engaged audience, the gay-art niche is growing and gaining more and more recognition as a legitimate artistic category that can be proudly presented and traded. Pan Homo Art Gallery, a commercial gallery specializing in gay art with a sales and content website, approached us for branding that would give them the deserved respect.

We chose to design a dual virtual space that serves as both a “white cube” gallery, symbolizing the traditional art world, and as a unique and unapologetically queer space. Familiar symbols from the gay scene are reimagined in a digital representation of 3D models of black-and-white mesh. The overall visibility rebels against mainstream culture, while maintaining a clean and sophisticated gallery aesthetic. The logo’s P takes its inspiration from Pan, the wild and horny Greek god.
